I am really proud of my school because they are trying to be supportive of students with disabilities. This means, they are installing an elevator and hand rails on all floors--which is a huge endeavor. But it does not mean that it's easy--on my ears.
A couple of weeks ago (maybe 2--wow--time flies!) they were hooking up the wiring for the elevator in the teacher's room. This happened to be on a Tuesday and Wednesday--which are my easy days with only 2 or 3 classes. Which meant that I was present for most of the construction--hammering nails, whirling screw-drivers, buzzing wood saws....to be kind, it was a noisy mess.
But the results were very pretty....

We also got a new white board the following week. It looks very nice....and now... it's finished so it can be quiet again!
