New Years CountDown!

Date: 12/31/2010-1/1/2011

To welcome in the New Year, DJ FreeTempo played for a while.  To be honest, I wasn't too impressed with the DJs--it just seemed like a lot of the same beats over and over again.  There were 3 DJ chunks in the evening and they were just too long (roughly 90 minutes each).  But, whatever--we had fun dancing for the first while and then went off and did whatever.

But we welcome the New Year dancing the night away--perfect!

Our New Friends.
 Start the CountDOWN!
It was really funny to be in a crowd full of non-English speakers for the countdown.  You could hear a voice or two of 10, 9, 8, 7, but for the most part, the count down was in Korean.  That was cool.
 HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Confetti Cannons!

I love this picture!
The only annoying part of the evening--this American.  God, he made me embarrassed to be American.  In fact, I heard another person say, "No, He's Canadian..."
He isn't too bad here, but later on in the night, he was simply obnoxious.
Sarah and I were in the thick of the countdown party, but the rest of our party was hanging out in the back having their own party--or more accurately--their own Balloon Fight!

Here is what I come upon when I go back to say Happy New Years to them:

Kat is literally sitting on one of the balloons that dropped from New Years.  She's sliding back and forth, waiting for it to pop.  Scott is trying to help the process along by poking the balloon--but it was quiet content not to pop--UNTIL:

POP!
